L2Design Studio, LLC was created to pursue a design-centric approach that is built on strong relationships with our clients. We enjoy working collaboratively with you to create a successful endeavor. We do this by listening carefully, being creative, and ultimately providing a thoughtful and well-articulated design.

Founded in 2015, L2 Design Studio is based in Baltimore. We have completed projects within the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond, designing spaces for a variety of uses, including civic, cultural, workplace, retail and residential. We bring decades of experience to each project, from interior renovation to full building design. 

Lori Lessem, the founding principal, has over 25 years of experience in award-winning architecture and interiors. Lori has worked on projects from the initial concepts through final move-in, bringing a creative approach and passion to each phase. Her experience includes art galleries, athletic complexes, student centers, college/university and K-12 projects, corporate interiors, and custom residential. Lori is active in the local AIA chapter and past Co-Chair for the Equity Committee for Baltimore AIA.
